Hong Ik Martial Arts of Bronxville presents Korean New Year to Public Schools of Lower Westchester County

On January 31st, 2020, Hong Ik Martial Arts visited the public schools in lower Westchester County for the second year in a row to perform a demonstration in celebration of the Lunar New Year. Masters, MUSA, and students presented an informative and energetic demonstration which included information about the Lunar New Year, called “Seol”, and Tae Kwon Do as offered through Hong Ik Martial Arts. The gymnasium was filled with positive energy and the children were focused on the presentation and demonstrations. The energy in the gym grew as the students participated in various martial arts exercises and watched the excellent demonstrations by the Masters and MUSA. There was a visible change in the children and teachers after the event as they left the presentation invigorated and full of excitement and wonder. It is always a special opportunity to see the Masters, Musa, and other students perform and share their excellent energy while inspiring the curiosity, joy, and positive energy of others!
