Hong Ik Martial Arts of Roseville- Eliana’s Birthday Party

On Saturday, April 25th, Hong Ik Martial Arts of Roseville hosted a special 10th birthday celebration for Eliana, one of our red belts. Friends from the Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln areas joined us for an afternoon filled with martial arts and excitement.

The event began with ladder drills and dynamic footwork, followed by a warm-up of stretching and conditioning led by Eliana. Master Kim then conducted a Taekwondo class where guests learned fundamental punches, front snap kicks, and blocks. The training session was supported by our SUSA and MUSA leadership groups and concluded with an energetic flying side-kick challenge.

Following the class, guests watched demonstrations of target kicking, forms, nunchuck skills, and board breaking by Eliana and the leadership teams. Five guests even had the opportunity to break their own boards after a fun dance-off.

The celebration concluded in the waiting area with food, cake, and a traditional cake-cutting ceremony using a Kumyedo sword.

We would like to wish Eliana a very happy 10th birthday!
