Holly Burke is a dedicated student at Hong Ik Martial Arts of New Rochelle. On December 14, 2025, she celebrated her 4th consecutive Hong Ik Martial Arts Birthday Party, turning 8 years old.

Each year the training program and her demonstration have evolved. Additionally, this year she led her guests in the warm up exercises, as she now has 1 year experience being a part of the Musa Warrior Leadership Group. Like her sister Susa Korin, she incorporated some workshop skills in the activities that she introduced to all of her friends at her Taekwondo Birthday Party.

She graduated from the Self-Defense Workshop (Level 3), Nunchuck Workshop (Level 4), and Tumbling Workshop (Level 4). When asked why she has done her birthday party at Hong Ik Martial Arts of New Rochelle a fourth time, one reason she mentioned was that she likes to display her improvement from one year to the next in her Taekwondo Exhibition at the end of the party. This year Holly was able to premiere her MUSA sword abilities, whereas she hadn’t the previous 3 years. All MUSAs are invited to demonstrate at various events if they show enough maturity while taking their class. Holly, however, not only assists with events at Hong Ik Martial Arts of New Rochelle, but also sometimes at Hong Ik Martial Arts of Tarrytown Promotion Tests. When asked why she chooses to, she said she likes to see Grand Master Yoo and how the demos differ at other locations.

Notable attributes of Holly are her powerful voice and enthusiasm to maintain keeping up with her Black Belt and Musa Curriculum throughout the year without any break, even when she has other sport activities going on.
