TAE GEUK literally means extreme end.
TAE GEUK is the principle of cosmic energy cycle, as follows:
Once the energy starts to grow, eventually it reaches its peak, but instead of destroying or disappearing it converts into another type of energy, thereby continuing its energy life cycle.
TAE GEUK is the principle of continuous and harmonious cosmic energy cycle, without its destruction or disharmony. This cosmic energy cycle consists of two different energies called Yang and Um.

Below are some characteristics and examples of Yang and Um:

Deep meaning of Tae Geuk Qigong:
Cultivate harmonious and continuous energy by applying Tae Geuk principle. This will guide us in understanding the energy of Mother Nature and help us to use cultivated energy to benefit humanity, like Mother Nature bestows blessings on us humans.
The process of Tae Geuk Qigong
Haab Jang Sushik 3 times > Kishik > Tae Geuk cycle > Sushik 3 times
The key points of postures:
- Release tension from the shoulders, chest and face
- Move your entire body, not just your arms
- Make harmonious and continuous motions without pausing
The key points of respiration:
- Tongue slightly touching the roof of your mouth
- Teeth slightly apart
- Lips gently touching
- Breathe in and out through your nose only
- Keep your awareness on the lower DahnJun
The key points of concentration
- Kishik
- On the way up (Yang) – floatation under the palms and arms
- On the way down (Um) – buoyancy under the palms
- Tae Geuk cycle
- Release tensions through all fingertips like releasing fire flames through your fingertips
- Top hand (Yang) – light weight and floatation
- Bottom hand (Um) – heavy weight and sinking
Practice 5 minutes daily and find the benefits of relaxation in your mind and some peace in your brain.
