- Taekwondo physical training is rooted in ancient fighting systems of Subak and Taekkyon. Subak is mainly a bare hands striking combat system that was focused around keeping in mind the fighting done at that time mostly involved armor. So kicking is much more difficult in that attire. Taekkyon is characterized by fantastic kicking, accompanied with fluid and dynamic footwork.
- Preview to September HISA Combination TaeGeuk and Saam TaeGeuk Qigong
- One hand flows continuously doing TaeGeuk while other hand draws the Saam TaeGeuk
- This is the third consecutive HST Susas practiced this at the end of class, so they should continue doing their home practice so they can assist others effectively in September.
- TaeGeuk is illustrating the continuation and evolution of the Cosmos. Saam TaeGeuk is illustrating us, as humans, showing gratitude to Mother Nature and our Precious Origin. By receiving blessings from Mother Nature everyday, we should recognize our responsibility to all people. Through our sincere striving to widely benefit all human beings, we are giving thanks to all. We have received blessings, so we should give out as well. Hong Ik In Gaan.
