HISA Winner: Josue Santana-Ayende
Josue has submitted every HISA chart over the last few years. His patience and diligence are noteworthy, and Hong Ik Martial Arts of New Rochelle is happy to award him his first HISA victory. He struggled with drawing the Saam Taegeuk shape in the beginning of May but did not give up and is improving his determination through this practice. Furthermore, he was courageous enough to recently start sparring and compete in that division at HIMAF. We are delighted to see his maturity blossom as a SUSA and look forward to his 2nd degree test with his 2 fellow black belt siblings this year.
