2026 January HISA Champion: TAEGEUK QIGONG | Hong Ik Martial Arts of Bronxville
Hong Ik Martial Arts of Bronxville
HISA Champion: JACKSON BURGOS
Jackson has consistently demonstrated sincerity and focus at the Bronxville location since the very beginning of his journey. Currently training at the Bodan Yellow belt level, Jackson is showing remarkable maturity for a 7-year-old, proving that he is ready for the challenges of advanced leadership.
Throughout this month of Taegeuk Qigong (TGQG), Jackson’s progress has been truly inspiring. While the physical movements may appear simple, Jackson has learned the art of calming his mind amidst his busy schedule as a young student. He has shared how these breathing and meditation exercises help him find a sense of balance and peace after a long day of learning and play.
A key highlight of Jackson’s training is his growing realization that true strength comes from within. He has noted that while it is easy for the mind to wander, the discipline of Qigong helps him “anchor” his thoughts. This mental fortitude is a foundational skill that will undoubtedly forge a brilliant and successful future for him as he moves toward his Black Belt.
We are incredibly proud of Jackson’s dedication to finding his inner harmony and his commitment to the Hong Ik spirit.
Thank you, Jackson, for your wonderful effort!
