The 1st White Tiger Cup semi HIMAF TKD Championship at Greenwich High School

On Sunday May 22, 2016, the 1st White Tiger Cup semi HIMAF TKD Championship at Greenwich High School took place. Taekwondo practitioners from various schools in the Tri-State Area of Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York gathered to showcase the great fellowship among students of the art. This tournament uniquely combined Form and Board Breaking as 1 event, and had Olympic Style Sparring as a second event for competitors to choose to participate in. Several levels were exhibited, from the developing stages of yellow belt to the higher stages of black belt. In addition to the competition, spectators were treated to Martial Arts performances from the White Tiger Taekwondo and Yoo’s Martial Arts SUSA MUSA Demonstration Teams. Self Defense, Board Breaking, and Acrobatics were on full display. It is of hope that at the conclusion of the day, positive energy and sincerity may more intensely be in the hearts of each competitor, spectator, and staff member.
